Good Friend, Inc. Will Cease Operations
at the End of July 2025
After 18 incredible years of advocacy, education, and community building, Good Friend, Inc. will officially cease doing business at the end of July 2025.
This decision was not made lightly. It follows thoughtful reflection on the evolving needs of our community, our organizational capacity, and the natural lifecycle of a nonprofit that has achieved so much since its founding in 2007.
Throughout the years, we’ve had the profound honor of working with educators, students, families, and advocates to foster a world where autistic individuals are understood, accepted, and respected. From classroom workshops and professional development sessions to original films and community events, every initiative has been guided by our commitment to inclusion and empathy.
We are proud to share that while Good Friend, Inc. will no longer operate as an organization, our programs WILL continue.
Both our School and Community programming and our Neurodiversity at Work offerings have been placed in caring, capable hands — ensuring that the important work and lasting impact of these programs will move forward.
More information about the transition and where to access these programs will be shared in the coming weeks and made available on our website.
We are deeply grateful to every supporter, partner, board member, donor, and friend who stood with us along the way. Though our organization is winding down, the heart of our mission lives on — in the people we’ve served, the change we’ve inspired, and the future we helped shape.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.

Schools & Community
An inclusive community embraces neurodiversity and makes people of all neurotypes feel like they belong. This begins with education and understanding. Our school and community programs focus on creating community through training universally designed for the neuromajority.
